Time and Talent Hours

Sacred Heart Catholic School requires each family to complete 15 service hours each school year because our school community thrives when parents actively participate and share their time and talents. These hours help support school events, programs, and daily operations while strengthening the partnership between families and the school. Most importantly, service reflects our Catholic call to serve others and helps create a stronger, more connected Sacred Heart community.

There are numerous opportunities to get these hours, such as substitute teaching, PTO events, concession stand, coaching, volunteering in classrooms or the library, grounds maintenance, and enhancements. We would loved to know if you specific skill set that could be used to improve or repair our school facility. Your knowledge can help improve our facility and can count toward your service hours. Service hours will be tracked through FACTS.  All uncompleted service hours will be charged to the family at a rate of $25 per hour. Service hours must be completed by May 1. The total amount will be billed in May.
